Previously supported the Federal Trade Commission where my role was to manage the production development networks, to include the following:

 

·         Windows 2008 R2:

o        Manage a Windows 2008 R2 network consisting of over 300 production & development servers

o        Managed Windows services for DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and user accounts

·         Microsoft Exchange 2007:

o        Managed Exchange 2007 environment, database stores and mailbox administration

o        Perform diagnostics as needed (defrag, esutil, isinteg) and restore mail data using Netbackup

·         Successfully completed the Unclassified and Classified Exchange 2007 migration to include creating clusters using MS Clustering, installed & configured Exchange 2007, create DB’s, decomm the Exchange 2007 servers, cutover PubFld, Address Book, P2V a box to be used for legacy restores and write documentation to transition to Operations.   Client base existed of 9500+ unclass and 6500+ classified mailboxes

·         Successfully completed the build out for a new Exchange server for classified email content filtering using Symantec Mail Security for Exchange 6.5

·         Successfully installed and configured SME-PED devices to be used for viewing unclass and classified emails

 

11/2008 – 9/2009; Sr. Systems Engineer; K-Force – DoD / Pentagon

 

·         Served as the Sr. Systems Engineer support the Air Force 844^th Command Squadron at Bolling AFB where I managed day to day operations for the Windows 2008/2003 and Exchange 2007 enterprise environment which consisted of 30,000+ customers.

·         Managed Exchange 2007 server (12 total) to ensure consistent operability was efficient, administered databases as needed and performed maintenance as required

·         Created new databases and moved mailboxes accordingly using PowerShell scripts
